Life is a series of changes, struggles, and adjustments. These experiences are inevitable, and our children go through them just like we do. They experience life’s mental and emotional roller coaster, and sometimes, unfortunately, tend to lose hope and engage in undesirable ways of thinking as a result. As parents or caregivers, we can’t always answer all their questions or concerns. To help them, we can provide a foundation of faith, a belief that things will get better if they stay positive. Support this foundation with a deep spiritual bond with Allah (swt) and the Ahlulbayt peace be upon them, whom Allah has given preference.
About the author
Influenced by her highly spiritual and educated family. Fatimah Bazzi, a Michigan native, was able to combine her Western nationality with her Middle Eastern heritage. Challenging herself to expand her descriptive vocabulary list as an elementary student, her passion for writing was discovered. Today she is a devoted mother of two, holding a Master's degree in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University. After so long, Fatimah is able to convert her writing dream into reality. Her inspiration is derived from her passion to create a religious learning experience for children that is based on a combination of knowledge and spiritual connection.
